o ya boston
o ya has reopened!
After being temporarily closed since March of 2020, o ya Boston is now accepting reservations for indoor dining.
For the safety of our guests and staff, seating is limited to four tables and two chef's counter seats.
A nightly chef's choice omakase menu will be offered. Adjustments to the menu for allergies and aversions can be made with 24 hour advance notice. Requests for vegetarian omakase menus can be accommodated with at least 72 hours advance notice.
As we reopen, the safety of our guests and staff remains our top priority. The following is a list of the safety measures we have taken and procedures you may expect to see when dining at o ya.
✦ We are asking guests to keep their masks on once seated at the table unless they are actively eating.
✦ An air purification system has been installed in the dining room.
✦ All staff are required to wear a mask at all times when inside the building.
✦ All staff and guests will have their temperatures checked upon entering the restaurant with the use of no-contact thermometers at the host stand.
✦ Our seating is at a minimum of 6ft apart. And we don't mean that the tables are six feet apart. We measure the distance from guest to guest, seated in chairs and not from the table's edge. To keep a safe distance, seating is limited to 4 tables and two chef's counter seats.
✦ Disposable menus will be provided to each guest.
✦ All high-touch, hard surfaces are sanitized every 30 minutes in addition to ongoing sanitizing and handwashing by the staff.
✦ Hand sanitation stations have been set up in convenient locations around the dining room to encourage the frequent hand washing of both staff and guests.
